23 -- CONTAINER ROLL-IN/OUT PLATFORMS POC For a solicitation copy or for information on this procurement, Call: Earl Rashid (810) 574-7153 Final version of request for proposal (RFP) DAAE07-97-R -X028 was released on 26 Mar 97 for competitive proposals. The RFP is for 9,780 each, container rollin/out platforms (crops) in support of the palletized load system (pls) which was described in the draft RFP issued on 18 Dec 96. There will be up to three awards, one of which will be a competitive 8(A) set-aside. A quantity of 2,000 each is set-aside for 8(A) competition and the remaining quantity of 7,780 will be awarded to one or two offerors on an full and open competition basis. The crop is cargo carrying platform, of a permanent character, suitable for repeated use with the pls load handling system (LHS) and compatible for transport on the pls truck and pls trailer, and international organization for standardization (ISO) 1C C dry cargo container.
