39 -- JOHN DAY POWERHOUSE PROTOTYPE ESBS IMPROVEMENTS AND CRANE MODIFICATIONS SOL DACW57-97-B-0017 DUE 051397 POC Contract Specialist MARTINA HARWOOD (503) 326-5816 (Site Code DACW57) This contract entails work to: make improvements to the existing prototype ESBS; replace perforated plate panels in center portions; modify trash sweep controls; manufacture and install 3 tugger hoists for existing auxiliary lifting beam and revise lifting beam to use with latch line hoist and with bulkhead lifting beam; and make modifications to the gantry crane. Work also includes magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic inspection, and 100 hours of services of a skilled craftsman. Work must be completed within 60 days after receipt of a signed contract.
