Indefinite quantity contract for acoustic/release transponders with a maximum quantity of 75 each and a minimum quantity of 5 each over the life of the contract. Proposed acoustic/release transponders must be 100% compatible with EG&G 8011 Acoustic Command Deck unit. Proposed units, at a minimum, shall have a load capacity of 5000 kg, shall operate at depths of 6000 meters, shall have a battery life of two years with 40,000 replies. The length shall not exceed 1 meter with a working range of 10 km. Acoustic commands shall enable, disable, release and spare, with interrogation frequency of 9 or 11 kHz. Reply frequency 7.5 to 15 kHz to 500 Hz increments. Delivery will be 45 days after placement of each order. The period of performance shall be for 36 months. FOB Seattle, WA.
