The Bureau of the Public Debt intends to issue a commercial item solicitation for Information Technology (IT) equipment maintenance services. These services will include maintenance for a mainframe computer complex in Parkersburg, WV, and associated devices at Public Debt offices in Parkersburg, WV, and Washington, DC. Equipment to be covered includes Amdahl CPU, front-end communications processors, and DASD; IBM minicomputers, printers, tape equipment, and communications controllers; Memorex Telex tape equipment; and printers, communications controllers, and other devices from various manufacturers. Public Debt contemplates a contract term consisting of a base year and six one-year option periods. Requests for the solicitation must be made in writing.
