Abney, 202-708-6498, or Susan Webster on 202-708-7662 The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, solicits proposals to operate a Center to Link School Districts with Information and Support on the Use of Technology, Educational Media, and Materials (TMM) to improve educational outcome for children and youth with disabilities. The contractor shall select school districts to receive information and support on TMM; develop a resources bank of experts; work with other school districts to form a community collaborative, evaluate the information and support activities, and develop and implement a blueprint to export elements of the support activities to additional local school districts. The period of performance will be thirty-six months with two twelve-month options periods. The RFP is anticipated to be issued on or about April 15, 1997 and closing on or about May 30, 1997.
