The Bi-State Development Agency of the Missouri-Illinois Metropolitan Area (Agency) is hereby requesting bids for the performance of all work necessary to construct permanent operator restrooms at the existing MetroLink Stations: North Hanley, University Missouri St. Louis-South, St. Charles Rock Road and Wellston, generally consisting of but not limited to the construction of a new 10 x 14 ft., two room, cement masonry unit (CMU) restroom facility at these locations, complete with the necessary sanitary, water supply, and electrical power connections. Water supply and electrical power already exist at all four of the locations. Sanitary conditions will be off-site, and will require connection runs of up to 500 feet with grinder pumps and forced main pipes required at North Hanley and University Missouri St. Louis-South. The DBE participation goal will be determined. The Agency is committed to maximizing DBE participation. All bidders are strongly encouraged to afford these firms the maximum opportunity to participate as partners. All DBE firms are invited to fully participate in this procurement as a primary bidder or as a partner with another firm.
