The project consists of the paving, signing, and striping of U.S. Route 27 from Long Hollow Road to McFarland Gap Road; the reconstruction of McFarland Gap Road; grading, drainage, and paving of Dewberry Road; waterline relocations; and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Roadway Excavation: 27,200 CY; Aggregate Base, Grading C or D: 10,000 TON; Hot Asphalt Concrete Pavement: 41,000 TON; Reinforced Concrete Culvert, Double Barrel: 370 LF; and Guardrail Systems: 5,670 LF; and Waterline Installation: 2,800 LF.
