Souto, Contracting Officer, 717-770-6206 The Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna PA (DDSP) has the requirement for the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract for the procurement of remanufactured pallets under a closed loop pallet and wood reclamation program. This program will involve, but is not limited to, the following: (1) retrieving and transporting all discarded non-contaminated wood products from established points at the DDSP east and west sites located in New Cumberland and Mechanicsburg, PA respectively and at external DDSP customers located within an approximate 150 miles (one way driving distance) of New Cumberland, PA to the Contractor's facility; (2) cleaning the retrieved scrap wood products of metal fasteners, size and dismantle nonrepairable pallets for reuse in the pallet repair and remanufacture of the MIL-SPEC pallets, using a combination of recycled and virgin wood products, and supplying these remanufactured pallets as required by DDSP; and (3) crediting DDSP for all Grocery Manufacture Association (GMA) pallets received from DDSP and their external customers. Contract period is anticipated to be for a one year period. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by this agency.
