The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) intends to acquire under the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items a Vacuum Pump Model Number E2M80/EH500-230V-3PH sole source from Edwards High Vacuum Inc, 3279 Grand Island Blvd, Grand Island NY 14072. It is a high throughput mechanical vacuum pump capable of maintaining a one-torr vacuum at 4-liter per minute ammonia gas flow rate is required with 283-cubic foot per minute overall pumping capacity. The entire pump is to be constructed with stainless steel parts and is to be designed for long term operation and heavy usage with yearly change of pump oil and filter as the only required maintenance.
