These items are to be used as spares for the Power Conditioner System aboard the SEAWOLF submarines. The Power Conditioner System was designed and manufactured by Power Paragon; they own the proprietary design specifications. Therefore the Government intends to negotiate this requirement with Power Paragon, 901 East Ball Road, Anaheim, CA 92805, on a sole source basis. The Government cannot provide specifications for a competitive procurement. This procurement will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
