The Federal Computer Acquisition Center (FEDCAC) is soliciting sources from qualified offerors to purchase desktop computing as a service. This initiative is referred to as "Seat Management." Under the Seat Management approach, the Government desires to acquire these services as a utility and intends to pay for these services by the seat. This includes the entire suite of hardware, COTS software, connectivity, and support services required to deliver this support to the Federal employee's desktop. Seat Management will be a non-mandatory program available governmentwide. The Government anticipates a multiple award, IDIQ labor hour contract. The Government intends that a significant portion of the services acquired under Seat Management be provided by the small business community. Additionally, the Government is seeking ideas that ensures small business community representation in this initiative. The Government desires qualified offerors to consider teaming arrangements that will include large, small, small-disadvantaged, and women-owned businesses. In order to be included on the source list, qualified firms are required to submit a written request, via E-mail to jeanne.davis@gsa.gov or siobhan.frongillo@gsa.gov. Sources responding to this notice shall indicate whether they are large, small, small-disadvantaged, or women-owned business. For this synopsis a business is considered small if its average receipts for its preceding three (3) fiscal years do not exceed $18 million dollars. The SIC Code for this acquisition is 7376.
