Tatum (93A2) (202) 273-8773 The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), Washington, D.C., has a requirement for FLAGS, NATIONAL, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, INTERMENT, NSN 8345-00-656-1432, made in accordance with Federal Specification DDD-F-416E dated November 27, 1981. Salient characteristics are: The interment flag of the United States shall be a 5-foot hoist by 9-foot 6-inch fly flag, and be made from 100% cotton. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for one year. Total estimated Fiscal Year 1997 (FY-97) quantity is 445,500 flags. A portion of the estimated quantity will be obtained from mandatory sources. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards of the non-mandatory set aside portion if doing so is economically advantageous to the Government.
