Gardiner (401) 457-3032 Fax (401) 457-3079 Provide Architect/Engineer services including design development, construction documents, cost estimates, construction period services and construction site visits for Project 650-97-123, Ambulatory Care Site Access. Two design reviews are required, with the final design documents due by July 16, 1997. The project will involve excavation, fill, grading, paving, drainage, curbing, sidewalks, signs, traffic striping and associated site work in two areas of the campus, with an estimated construction cost between $250,000 and $500,000. The first area will provide ambulatory care access improvements in the vicinity of Buildings 2,3 & 5 and Parking Lot #1, which includes realigning the parking spaces, constructing traffic islands, providing additional patient parking, improving vehicular access and egress, and constructing associated site improvements. The second area will provide a new road running in an east/west direction off the main roadway loop. The road will be constructed in the vicinity of Building T-17 through Parking Lot #10, between Buildings 6 & 9. The new access road will allow truck access to the Warehouse and the loading dock on Building #1. Consideration is limited to emerging small business firms within a 65 mile radius of the Providence VA Medical Center. Applicable SIC code is 8712. For the purposes of this announcement, an emerging small business is one whose average annual gross receipts for the last 3 fiscal years did not exceed $1.25 million.
