States Postal Service, Corporate Information Services, is interested in
procuring the services of three on-site forms programmers/analysts with
special knowledge of BLADE programming language. BLADE is the Postal
Service's standard forms automation software (F3-Fill). It is
proprietary and uncommon. The programmer/analysts must have knowledge
of our business processes and procedures and demonstrate expertise and
software knowledge of the postal technological environment in the
areas of electronic forms and business applications supporting the
forms automation program (TransFORM). They will also be involved in the
WebForms project which provides automated postage statements to
customers over the Web. To help us fully understand your capabilities,
please answer the questions below. Be aware that you may be asked to
substantiate your experience by providing appropriate client references
for any and all experience you cite. How many years of programming
experience do you have? How many years of forms programming do you
have? How many years of BLADE programming experience do you have? How
many years of forms design experience do you have? Demonstrate two
examples of your more challenging BLADE-programmed forms. Describe your
experience with quality assurance forms programs. Describe the extent
of your knowledge of our business processes and procedures. The Postal
Service has the option to award multiple contracts based on the Line
