Software Maintenance of one (l) each Xerox Mdl 4090 and two (2) each
Xerox Mdl 4050 Laser Print Systems (all currently running Version 3.5
Rev 7.6 Software at Patch Level PFAE05 plus site specific patches). The
4090 System includes stacker, printer engine, system controller,
keyboard display, offline tape controller, l70MB Disks, l28MB Font
Memory, Graphic Video Controller with 32MB Memory, High Capacity
Feeder, Ethernet Controller, and Cartridge Tape System with Daisy Chain
Cable. Each 4050 System includes printer, controller, keyboard display,
tacker, offline tape controller, graphics handling, 8MB font memory
expansion and 50 MB rigid disks. Services required onsite at NSWCDD
Dahlgren, VA during PPM Period (8 A.M. to 5 P.M. M-F, excluding
Government Holidays) and during Per Call Period (all times outside of
PPM). The Contractor is required to provide all labor, parts, tools,
diagnostics (including source code to be left at the site with no
remote diagnostics allowed), travel, per diem, OEM maintenance
publications, OEM ECOs and FCOs, etc. required to keep all hardware and
software in operating condition. Hardware preventive and remedial
maintenance required. Contractor required to replace faulty hard disk
drives containing classified information (estimated 2 nonerasable disk
crashes each year) and to provide deinstall/reinstall services.
Software maintenance includes providing updates/modifications and
correction of all software deficiencies within 30 calendar days.
Response time required during PPM and Per Call is within 2 hours of
Government service call. Response time and downtime credits will apply.
Maintenance personnel required to possess a SECRET security clearance.
Total duration of contract is 5 years with a base year and 4 optional
years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
