The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to award a contract to HCIA, 300 East Lombard Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21202 on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis. The contractor will be providing integrated financial, operational, and clinical data on approximately 5,000 acute care hospitals in the U.S. and provide analyses of these data to assist FHA in monitoring and managing its insurance risks. In addition the contractor shall provide evaluations of financial, operational and clinical performance of the approximately 5,000 acute care hospitals in the U.S. for the purpose of enabling FHA to compare performance of hospitals in the current portfolio and potential additions to the portfolio with the performance of their peers in the local and national market place. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The applicable standard industrial code is 7379. The period of performance is one year with three optional periods.
