562-8391 Professional Facilitator. The contractor shall meet with the
project manager to discuss substantive and procedural issues, and
define potentially involved interests and parties. Two meetings shall
be organized and held by the contractor one in Atlanta, GA on May 6-7,
1997 for approximately 150 people, and one in Raleigh, NC area on May
28-29, 1997 for approximately 150 people. The Environmental Protection
Agency Region 4 will conduct public meetings to gather stakeholder
input and comment to the federal guidance document being developed to
fulfill EPA's statutory responsibilities of source water protection,
identified in Section 1453 of the 1996 Amendment to the Safe Drinking
Water Act (Public Law 104-182). Region 4 will hold at least two of
these meetings. It is EPA's intent to have a very broad representation
of stakeholders at the stakeholder meetings. Public notification of
the meetings will be provided through the Federal Register. A specific
list of State and local governments, environmental and public health
interest groups, and interested organizations is being developed to
receive individual invitations to the meetings. The final outcome of
each of these meetings will be a report, submitted by EPA Region 4 to
EPA Headquarters, documenting the comments received. The Notice of
