FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to procure services and mateial to provide for the collection preparation, and updating of three (3) Distance Learning Calalogs published by the Defense Activity for Non- Traditional Educational Support (DANTES), Pensacola, FL. The requirement is for preparation services for DANTES distance learning catalogs. As part of its distance learnaing programs, DANTES provides current informa- tion about individual courses and external degrees available from civilian education institutions. To furnish this information, DANTES publishes and annually updates three catalogs: "DANTES Independent Study Catalog (DISC)", "DANTES External Degree Catalog," and "DANTES Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) Catalog." The srvices hall be required for the period 01 October 1997 through 30 September 1998 plus four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The contractor will also be responsible for the creation of Homepage and CD-ROM versions of these catalogs. All responsibile sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered equally by FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia. The proposed solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 01 April 1997.
