Rosalind D. Rogers The work includes BUILDING 268 -Clean and surface
prepare existing corrugated bituminous coated metal siding; trim;
flashing; metal overhead doors; personnel doors; ladders; handrails;
and existing masonry base building walls. Provide a new exterior
fluid-applied coating system over prepared metal surfaces. Provide a
new exterior waterproof coating system over prepared masonry and
concrete surfaces. Remove all rust, scale and paint from metal windows;
replacing all broken clear and wire glass; replacing broken corrugated
wire glass windows by removing corrugated wire glass from other areas
of building; replacing corrugated wire glass with preformed fiberglass
reinforced plastic panels; repainting all windows and existing doors to
remain; providing new exterior doors and door frames where indicated
and removing existing paint, scale and rust from roll-up doors and
repainting, and incidental related work. BUILDING 276 -- Renovating
freight elevator No. 51, removing lead paint from machine room, and
elevator shaft walls, and incidental related work. Estimated Cost
Range: $250,000 and $500,000. Plans and specifications will be
available on or about 21 April 1997. A limited number of plans and
specifications will be available on a first-come-first-served basis
until the supply is exhausted. There is no charge for the first set of
plans and specs (additional sets are $25.00 each); HOWEVER, EACH FIRM
IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING BID DATA. LOCAL FIRMS MAY PICK UP
PACKAGES AT THE ISSUING OFFICE. OUT OF TOWN FIRMS MUST MAKE ALL
ARRANGEMENTS FOR TYPE OF DELIVERY DESIRED AND NOTIFY ISSUING OFFICE. No
