WILD at (913) 239-0485 (Site Code DAKF19) This procurement is for approximately 43 5-ton "Build Up" units to house military supply computer systems during field training exercises. A general description is provided as follows: Wall construction -- laminated construction of fiberglass, plywood, and polystyrene construction foam; Roof construction -- same as wall; Floor -- 18 gauge sheet steel, plywood, and high density polystyrene construction foam; Door -- same as walls. The units shall also have heating and A/C,2 air vents, the ability to hook up to a generator, a black out light system, florescent lights, a grounding point, forklift guides on four sides, lifting rings, cabinetry and drawers, and be painted a camouflage color. Delivery will be FOB destination. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract using sealed bid procedures. The tentative issue date is on or about 27 Jun 97 with bid opening on or about 29 Jul 97. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3792 which sets the small business size at 500 employees.
