McCoy, Procurement Analyst, 916-364-4223 or Ted Skora, Procurement Analyst, 916-364-5168 The Television-Audio Support Activity (T-ASA) is a DoD level field activity assigned to the American Forces Information Service (AFIS), supporting AFIS and all military departments, i.e., Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Reserve components, National Guard units, the Defense Information School and other Federal government organizations in their acquisition of radio and tv broadcast equipment and visual information facilities. T-ASA is seeking holders of General Services Administration (GSA) contracts in the Federal Supply Group 67 -- Communications Equipment, who may be interested in entering into special arrangements such as BPA's in conjunction their GSA contract. The T-ASA contracting office, which obligated $8,885,506.00 to FSC Group 67 contract holders in FY96, desires to better serve our customer's recurring needs by obtaining, as a minimum, better discounts, delivery, dealer support, warranty or any other enhancements. Request that all GSA contractor's holding a schedule in FSC Group 58 and interested in assisting T-ASA in the development of these special arrangements, submit the following information within 30 days of this notice: GSA Contractor Name and Address; GSA Contract Number; period covered by the contract; main FSC Group and any other FSC groups contained in your schedule; the size of your firm, the discount, delivery schedule, warranty and local dealer support you would propose if offered a special arrangement and a point of contact. After analysis of proposals, it is contemplated that an agreement will be written with all those offering T-ASA the most favorable arrangements.
