The NCI is solicing for offerors with the capability to evaluate the efficacy of various chemopreventive agents in experimental animal carcinogenesis models. The work to be performed shall take initial leads on designated cancer preventing agents and expand the data base in terms of range of species and organ sites. Master Agreements (MAs) will be awarded to all offerors who are found to be technically acceptable. This pool of offerors will be eligible to compete for Master Agreement Orders (MAOs) during the performance period of the MA. It is anticipated that 6or 7 MAOs will be awarded each year. Only MA Holders will be issued the MAO RFPcontaining only requirements related to the MA with specific performance requirements and applicable evaluation criteria related to the MAO/RFP. The period of performance for the MA awards will be for 5 years. Annual solicitations will be issued to expand the MA pool to include additional offerors. This MAA will be available on or before June 6, 1997, and proposals will be due on August 6, 1997.
