The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for the development and testing of a night capable infrared framing camera capable of : 1) capturing inherently two-dimensional imagery of approximately 2000x2000 pixels per frame; 2) graded on-chip or equivalent forward motion 3) digital electronic tape storage of the image stream; 4) near real-time telemetry down link of selected imagery and 5) reception and display in a ground station. (2 OPTIONS) 1) Installation and maintaining camera on Navy aircraft along with test flights and data evaluation of the camera and 2) Additional lens (Qty 1) with a resolutionof f= 100 microradians and twice the baseline Nyquist spatial sampling frequency while still achieving the required MRT (minimum resolved temperature). The required delivery is as follows: Framing MWIR Camera -- 15 months after award -- Installation and maintaining camera on Navy aircraft along with test flights and data evaluation of the camera (OPTIONAL)- 15 months after delivery of camera, if exercised and additional lens (OPTIONAL) 9 months, if exercised.
