A -- ALTERNATIVE MANUFACTURE OF THE M919 SABOT SOL DAAH03-97-R-0142 DUE 051497 POC (RDPC) Linda Madden, Contract Specialist, AMSMI-AC-CRBA, 205-876-5260, Marsha Tulley, Contracting Officer, Synopsis Number R129-97. Period of performance is 9 months. This effort is to develop and implement the superplastic forming manufacturing to lower the production cost of M919 sabots while maintaining dimensional accuracies and vital mechanical properties. This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. RFP will be issued to Creare, Inc., P.O. Box 71, Hanover, NH 03755. The technology required for this effort has already been developed by Creare, Inc. under a prior contract. All possible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
