COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF APRIL 2,1997 PSA#1815DISSEMINATION AND EVALUATION FOR PROMISING AND EXEMPLARY PROGRAMS
Potential offerors are invited to review the Draft Statement of Work
and Draft Surveillance Plan for the Dissemination and Evaluation for
Promising and Exemplary Programs. The U.S. Department of
Education/Office of Educational Research and Improvement
(OERI)/Knowledge Applications Division has a need for the design and
implementation of a technical assistance activity which will provide
logistical, administrative, and analytical support for designating
promising or exemplary educational programs and sharing this
information with the broader educational community and the general
public by the most effective means possible. The Draft Statement of
Work and Draft Surveillance Plan for this requirements is being
announced today. It is available through the Internet at
http://ocfo.ed.gov/or gopher://ocfo.ed.gov/ or on the ED Board computer
bulletin board on or about April 1, 1997. PRINTED COPIES ARE NOT
AVAILABLE. The Statement of Work and Draft Surveillance Plan is also
available on ED Board BBS for dial upcomputer users at (202)260-9950.
The BBS has four 14,400 bps modem (setting:8-n-1). New users create
their ID and password at logon. At the BBS main menu, select contract
RFP and Work Statements On-Line for available contract documents. For

Department is requesting public comments and advise on the content and
other aspects of the Draft Statement of Work and Draft Surveillance

THIS IS NOT A SYNOPSIS OF A SOLICITATION. All comments are due by 2:00
PM EST April 8, 1997. The solicitation is expected to be released by
the end of April 1997. No other information on the procurement is
