Estimated cost of services is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for base plus four option years. The United States Army anticipates awarding a firm fixed price requirements contract to provide boiler and cooling water treatment quality assurance and chemical analysis of boiler and/or cooling treatment water samples, deposits and corrosion testers. Familiarity with the chemical treatment of industrial water systems is required to provide treatment recommendations as part of each analysis report. To avoid conflict of interest, contractor must not be associated with any firm selling boiler water treatment chemicals or equipment. Estimated start date is 1 December 1997.
