Z -- REPLACE POD B HVAC SYSTEM AND CHILLER UNIT AT MARSHALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SOL DAKF23-97-R-0208 DUE 051997 POC Contract Specialist Debbie Rapp (502) 798-9298 (Site Code DAKF23) Work to be performed is demolition and removal of existing POD B HVAC equipment and installation of new roof top units including ductwork, ceiling supply and return air diffusers, controls, and roof structure bracing and equipment roof curbs. All existing HVAC equipment including a gas-fired boiler and stack, circulating pump, heating hot water piping, eight floor mounted packaged fan coil units and all associated controls and wiring shall be removed. Four packaged Gas/Electric Rooftop units shall be sized and installed. New natural gas piping shall be connected to existing piping and extend to new rooftop units. Capacity of rooftop units shall be sized at the following conditions, (a) Cooling capacity rated at 95 F outside air. (b) Capable of operating down to 40 F ambient conditions. (c) Refrigerant type is R-22. (d) Chilled water supply and return temperature shall be 45 F/55 F. General Design Conditions are interior space conditions a. Summer: 78 F/ 55% relative humidity, b. Winter: 68 F; electrical -- a. Total amperage (verify equipment amperage with existing equipment power panel capacity), b. Voltage -- 208-230/3/60. Replace existing 15 ton trane air cooled chiller unit, with a new 15 ton chiller unit. General design conditions are interior space conditions a. Summer -- 78 F/55% relative humidity, b. Winter -- 68 F; electrical -- a. total amperage (verify equipment amperage with existing equipment power panel capacity, b. voltage -- 208-230/3/60. Forth coming contract will be firm- fixed price. The estimated range of this project is $25,000 to $100,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. For the purpose of determining Small Business size, SIC 1711, for this acquisition the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed$7 million.
