LRIP II is planned to consist of ten (10) F/A-18E and ten (10) F/A-18F aircraft and associated requirements. An option for LRIP III, the FY99 procurement will be included. LRIP III is estimated to include fourteen (14) F/A-18E and sixteen (16) F/A-18F aircraft and associated requirements. McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, PO Box 516, St. Louis MO 63166-0516, is the only known firm that has the specialized experience and technical capability to provide the requirements within the specified time period.
