Each earth station is compos ed of an antenna and modulator-demodulator unit which are to be procured und er this procurement plan and transmitter-reciever equipments ( high-power co nverter, low-noise block down converter and up-down converter ) which are t o be prepared separately by NTT, and can be transported by man power and el evator . The earth station is able to offer data transmission with satellite transmission path 1ch (51.84Mbit/s) both way per earth station, and 51.84 Mb it/s optical interface ( in conformity with ITU-T G.707 ) for terrestrial tr ansmission path.
