R -- MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES SOL 640-76-97 DUE 042897 POC Tracy Marasco at 415-614-9818 or James Grissett at 415-617-2671 MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES are required for VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Services to be rendered to VAPAHCS 24 hours, 7 days per week.Contractor shall provide dictation/medical transcription personnel, equipment, transportation, and supervision in accordance with Section C of Solicitation 640-76-97. Contractor shall have the capability to transcribe dictated reports in the following ESTIMATED quantities and turnaround times: 350,000 clinic notes within 24 hours; 9,500 discharge summaries within 48 hours; surgical procedure reports within 24 hours; other procedure reports within 48hours; letters within 48 hours and compensation & pension (C&P) reports within 48 hours. It is extremely critical that interested parties be highly capable of providing these services. Solicitation packages will be available upon written request via fax at 415-617-2731. NO TELEPHONE requests shall be acknowledged. Interested parties shall be charged a NONREFUNDABLE processing and distribution fee of $10.00 in accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6).
