18 -- X-38 OPERATIONAL VEHICLE TELECONFERENCES The X-38 project is considering establishing a routine weekly or biweekly status telecon to disseminate general information about the progress of the X-38 project to prospective bidders on the operational CRV contract. The basic format would include an overview of general project status and significant near-term events, not to exceed approximately = hour in duration. Each firm must designate a single point of contact for the purposes of this telecon. Firms must recognize that this is intended to be a status summary, not a forum for extended question and answer discussions. Any information released during these telecons is intended to be informational in nature and shall not be binding on the Government during the proposal evaluation process for the operational vehicle. The information is subject to change as a result of continuing development and testing of the flight test vehicle. No information that is considered proprietary to the current vendors of subsystem hardware will be discussed during the telecons.
