The American Embassy Brussels, Belgium requires the operation and
management of guard services in order to prevent unauthorized access,
protect life, maintain order, deter criminal attacks against employees,
dependents and property and to deter terrorist attacks against all U.S.
assets, and to prevent damage to U.S. Government property. The
Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative and direct labor
personnel to accomplish all work as required under this contract at the
U.S. Embassy in Brussels and metropolitan area. The estimated number of
guard services required per year under the contract is 38,920 hours
(including drivers), 11,680 hours for a supervisory guard and guard
dogs. Solicitation is for base year and four one-year options. All
requests for the solicitation must be submitted in writing. Telephone
requests for the RFP will not be honored. This RFP may be designated as
a streamlined acquisition and may be placed on the Department's
electronic bulletin board site, accessible via dial-up modem at
703-875-4945 and on the internet. Please notify Paulette Donnelly at

on the list of local guard contractors and have received verification
from the Office of the Procurement Executive that you have been placed
