Project encompasses 17,700 square feet of renovation and new construction inside existing historic hangars on Hickam AFB. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Construction of a battery shop, training room and administrative offices. Renovation of existing rubber shop, test stand room. Addition to rubber shop. Tasks include gypboard walls, ceilings, insulation, doors, windows, architectural finishes, building specialties, overhead crane system, air conditioning and ventilation, water and sewer systems, shop air lines, new lighting and electrical work, new 500KVA transformer and distribution system, relocation of existing portable metal building, and incidental related work. Demolition of existing battery shop, floor drains, electrical distribution system. The estimated state date is o/a July 1997; completion o/a February 1998.
