Z -- FLOOD REPAIR EQUIPMENT WITH OPERATOR #3, GIFFORD PINCHOT NATIONAL FOREST SOL RFP R6-5-97-07-G POC Contact Point, Janet Hada, 206/744-3338 Work will include clearing, excavation, borrow, placement of Government furnished riprap and aggregate, installation of culverts, both Government furnished and contractor furnished, seeding and fertilizing slopes by hand, and installing contractor furnished erosion control blankets. Additional work includes constructing french drains and installing contractor furnished debris control structures. Work also includes mobilization of equipment between work sites, an average of 15 miles. Estimated start work date is June 2, 1997. Contract completion time is approximately 152 days. The Government's estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bonding is required. Award will be based on past performance, experience and price.
