70 -- PURCHASE OF NETWORK MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE TO INCLUDE DOCUMENTATION AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT SOL DCA100-97-Q-0068 DUE 041797 POC Charlotte Hunter, Contract Specialist (703) 607-6892 or Leo Milanowski, Contracting Officer (703) 607-6908 The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to issue a combined synopsis/request for quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quotation. Responses to the Request for Quotation are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The Request for Quotation number is DCA100-97-Q-0068. The Request for Quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42 (or latest). The Specific Make and Model Procurement is as follows: One (1) Hewlett Packard OpenView Network Node Manager Release 4.1; One (1) Seagate Nerve Center Pro Release 2.6.1; One (1) Concord Network Health LAN/WAN Release 2.6; One (1) Concord WEB Link Release 2.6; Ninety (90) Concord Expansion Release 2.6; and, One (1) Remedy ARWeb; Initial technical support to include installation, configuration and verification of each software component in preparation of its intended use. Installation will be required within one week of receipt of software; Five (5) full day training sessions to include lecture, instructions and hands-on training to familiarize 2-4 network managers a detailed working knowledge of the various software components required and their interoperability. Training to be required within two weeks of receipt of software. Scheduled class dates and coordination will be discussed in detail between DISA and the vendor. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors must also include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, (b)(1) through (16), and (c)(1) through (5) also apply to this acquisition and must be included in the offer.
