This project is for architectural/engineering services (Type A and at the government option, Type B and C services) for the design of approximately 31,200 Square Feet Composite Support Facility (consisting of office space and dining hall) and 10,000 Square Feet Civil Engineering Readiness Facility (consisting of office space and storage) at the Fresno ANG Base, California. Work to include the design of all electric, communication and water utilities, security, area lighting, fencing, and parking/roads for the subject project. Scope of the services to include site investigation, master plan coordination, preparation of plans and specifications, design and cost estimate, analysis and field inspection and tests. Estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Evaluation and selection of the firm will be based on the following criteria: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory completion of the required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project, provided that application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project; (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design. Type of contract will be firm fixed price. This is an unrestricted procurement. The estimated start and completion dates are unknown at this time. A/E firms which meet these requirements described in this announcement and wish to be considered must submit 254/255 data.
