(505) 827-2911 The Superfund Oversight Section of the Ground Water
Quality Bureau part of the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) is
soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to drill, complete,
and develop shallow groundwater monitoring wells within the State of
New Mexico. Wells will be generally shallow, not to exceed 100 feet
deep. Hollow stem auger and comparable technologies will be considered.
A maximum of $150,000.00 is available for a two year contract, with an
option to extend the contract for an additional two (2) years
contingent on additional funding. Revenues for the contract are 100%
from an EPA Cooperative Agreement. Proposals must be received by
Thursday, May 15, 1997 at 5:00 PM MDT. Minority and women-owned
businesses are enouraged to respond. In order to receive a complete RFP
packet necessary to submit a proposal, contact one of the persons
listed below and specify you are requesting RFP #97-2 for shallow
