NY Healthcare System -- Buffalo site intends to award a contract for
maintenance on Government-owned Siemen's ZLC 3700 Nuclear Camera
System. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items
prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as
supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Quotes
(RFQs) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses
are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-44. This
procurement is unrestricted. SIC 8999. Contractor shall provide
maintenance on the ZLC 3700 DOT w/digitract nuclear camera consisting
of detector, DOT terminal, ECT/PHS micro dot imager, video 1/F for
micro dot, ECF amplifier, magnifier rotator, ICON AP, MAC II FX high
resolution color monitor 19", 650 MB EXT W/R optical disk, CD ROM
drive, HI RES video color printer (1755235) ICON PMAC IIFX RES color
monitor 16" system, by a certified field engineer with at least 3 years
experience on Siemen's equipment, with an onsite response time of 4
hours. Offerors are requested to provide their most current catalogue
price list, and the monthly costs for services. This will be a
firm-fixed price contract. FOB is destination. Payment will be made in
arrears on certified invoices. System is located in the Nuclear
Medicine Service Dept., at the VA Medical Center, 3495 Bailey Ave.,
