R -- PROVIDE WRITER/EDITOR SERVICES SOL 97-87(Q) DUE 051897 POC Anne Wright, Purchasing Agent The Vendor shall provide all labor, materials, travel, transportation and other incidentals necessary to perform services as Writer/Editor to finalize five chapters of a book yet to be published, elaborating on the School Health Program Model. The Vendor shall review edits, determining which edits to accept, ensuring edits are entered correctly and that final manuscript is delivered to publisher. The Vendor shall implement unveiling event of book following publication in addition to publicly attending professional conferences/meetings not to exceed five. The Vendor shall ensure that a minimum of five curricula selected by the CDC as part of its Research to Classroom project are revised to be current, accurate, and user friendly when utilized by teachers/educators working with youth. The Vendor shall review documents, (six minimum) developed by national organizations who have cooperative agreements with the CDC, recommending revisions to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance for intended audiences. The Vendor shall prepare a minimum of four draft documents focusing on school health, not to exceed fifty pages each.
