This notice serves as a corection to the Sources Sought anouncement
that was published on March 20, 1997. The announcement was incorrectly
published as Architect and Engineering Services. The correct service
classification codes is R "Professional, Administrative, and Management
Support Services". The correct due date for responses is April 25,
1997. Following is the decription as it appeared in the March 20, 1997

Nevitt/PKWRB/(937)257-5666 ext 4541. The National Air Intelligence
Center (NAIC), Wright Patterson AFB OH is contemplating a five year
single-award time and material contract to provide NAIC with a robust
digital threat model development and maintenance capability to support
the users of intelligence. Areas supported by NAIC include: research
and development, test and evaluation, operations training and national
policy making. Specifically, this effort will provide NAIC the ability
to produce and maintain Verified and Vallidated Joint Modeling and
Simulation System (J-MASS) compliant digital threat models of systems
within the NAIC areas of responsibility. The successful contractor
should possess, as a minimum, a Software Engineering Institute (SEI)
Level 3 rating along with an active pursuit of a SEI Level 4 rating.
Potential sources must provide in their response to this annnouncement
the following information: (1) Evidence of previous experience
performing in the areas of: (a)General Threat Assessments (b)Data
Modeling (c)Database Support (d)Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME)
(e)Modeling/Digital Simulation Development and (f)Digital Simulation
and Model Maintenance; (2)Evidence of the ability to obtain TOP
SECRET/SCI personnel and facility clearance in accordance with
Industrial Security Manual (DOD 5220.22M) by contract award;
(3)Evidence of TEMPEST capability to include any engineering data
processing equipment; (4)Evidence of the ability to perform at least
51% of all work levied under this contract. All responses will be
evaluated against the criteria listed in this announcement. Limit
responses to 10 pages or less. Foreign participation on this contract
is not authorized. Sources are requested to submit their responses by
April 25, 1997. All respondents shall indicate whether they are large
or small business in relation to SIC Code 8711, size standard $20M. The
government reserves the option to set this acquisition aside for small
business. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The
only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious
concerns from potential offerors, when an offeror prefers not to use
established channels to communicate his concerns during the proposal
development phase of this acquisition. Potential offerors should use
established channels to request information, pose questions, and voice
concerns before resorting to use of the Ombudsman. Potential offeros
