Y -- REPAIR CRASH FIRE RESCUE TRAINING FACILITY SOL F02604-97-B0004 DUE 052897 POC Lt Robert S. Williams, Contracts Officer, (602) 856-3436 ext. 280. The following is a summary of work for Project No. NUEX 94-3004-1 located at Luke AFB, Arizona. The project shall include but is not limited to: 1)Excavation and regrade existing surface and burn pit area complete with filter fiber and liners. 2)Remove and install new piping and three inch headers complete with new cathodic protection. 3)Modify existing Weir structure. 4)Provide new jacketed water-cooled igniter assemblies. 5)Remove 1/2 horsepower pump and associated piping, electrical connections and controls as required. 6)Provide new ignition control, exciter panel complete with conduits and wire. 7)Provide new emergency stop systems and controls. 8)Provide new burner shielding and slots on cargo box. Additionally, the contractor shall have prior experience with constructing a fire training facility and must have completed a similar project within the last 5 years on an approved government contract.
