70 -- SCANNING AND IMAGING SERVICES SOL N63165-97-R-0002 DUE 041897 POC Ms. Victoria Short, Contract Specialist, (202)685-1141, LT Kenneth Brown, Contracting Officer, (202)685-1083 This notice constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Scanning and Imaging services which include: Scanning into digital format, a minimum of 140,000 pages of International Law documents for the Office of the Judge Advocate General, Department of the Navy (OJAG). All documents preparations must be performed on-site at the OJAG offices and will require a SECRET clearance. Documents must be indexed and searchable using the Zylmage text retrieval software package. Scanning equipment/software must provide a high level of automatic image optimization for speckling remocal and character sharpening. Each page scanned must contain the full text and TIFF image. All indexes and data must be stored on CD-ROM(s) with the associated Zylmage executable software. All equipment required to perform this task must be supplied by the contractor. Hard disk drives become the property OJAG. No documents will be allowed to be removed from OJAG office spaces. Prior Department of Defense (DOD) experience with ZyLab office suite of programs is required. Availability of the Statement Of Work(SOW) is limited to 25 copies, which will be furnished on first come, first served basis.
