Chamber built by Emerson & Cuming, Inc. Refurbishment shall meet requirement for antenna and EMI testing. Refurbishment shall be in compliance with all local building and safety codes. Materials to be used for refurbishing the chamber shall have self extinguishing burning characteristics, i.e., the material will not burn by itself, and will not sustain flaming once flame source is removed. Anechoic absorber material shall cover ceiling, four walls and floor of the chamber. Absorber on the floor shall be removable. As a min, walk-on absorber shall be provided from door to and around the "Quiet Zone"and to opp. end of chamber where typically a transmitting source might be positioned. If the entire floor not covered with walk-on absorber can be rearranged as needed. If the walk-on absorber is not at same level as shielded door threshold, then a ramp shall be provided inside the chamber; the ramp shall not degrade the chamber performance. Requirement includes installation of new shielded door for enclosure. The new door shall provide shielding effectiveness of a least 80 dB from 1 MHz to 10 GHz. Complete SOW will be provided in RFQ.
