pkidd@email.usps.gov. The work includes furnishing of all labor,
materials, equipment and services necessary for and incidental to
repair and alteration of leased and postal owned facilities in the
Richmond Dictrict Area in the state of Virginia. At the discretion of
the Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded.
Contractors must have a minimum of (5) year's experience, as of the
date of issuance, in this type of work. Contractors must possess all
federal, state and local required licenses for this type of work in the
areas listed above. Contractors must also possess the capabilities of
working at least five to ten jobs at the same time. Specific work
orders will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the
unit price schedule and specifications. One or more "Work Orders" will
be issued totaling not less than $10,000 nor more than $250,000 during
a two (2) year period of the contract. The initial limit of $250,000
may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the contractor and
the Contracting Officer up to a maximum of $3,000,000.00. Solicitation
packages are available at $45.00 per set, non-refundable, referencing
Solicitation No. 362575-97-A-K207, (only one check per solicitation).
All check/money orders must made payable to: US Postal Service.
Solicitation packages will be issued on or about April 22, 1997.
