Hagwood, Project Officer (703) 784-2232 ext. 2503, E-mail hagwood_jrd@mqg.usmc.mil The Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) and the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) desire to provide a briefing to Industry regarding the Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S). The intent of CAC2S is to replace the present equipment suites of the Marine Aviation Command and Control System (MACCS) with a common suite of hardware and software which is open architectured in nature, and modular, scalable, and flexible in employment. CACS2 will replace closed architectured, stovepiped legacy equipment suites currently used by the MACCS agencies. The brief will be presented in the MCCDC Auditorium, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Quantico, Virginia at 0830 local time on Friday, April 25, 1997.
