This procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested firms have 15 days from publication on the NAIS and the Commerce Business Daily (CBD)to submit their capabilities. Such capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Interested firms shall submit a proposal to include: descriptive literature of the offered products, prices, warranty, availability, business size, invoice terms, and GSA contract number, if applicable. Responses received after 15 days without the required information will be considered non- responsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
