Concerns having the ability for providing community residential corrections facility(s) are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Florence, South Carolina area. Operational hotels/motels will not be considered as a physical plant for this requirement. Estimated total number of mandays are 11,680 for the base period, 6,570 mandays for the first option year, 7,300 mandays for the second option year and 8,030 mandays for the third option year. Estimated RFP issue date is May 4, 1997, estimated closing date is July 3, 1997. Contract base period is 2 years, with three one-year options to to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated.
