N/A This is a notification of intent to convene Acquisition Strategy Conference 29-30 April 1997, where industry participation and comments will be invited on anticipated acquisition of USAF C-130 Aircraft Tanker Rescue Modification. Sources Sought Synopsis for this req't was published herein on 14 Aug 96, and amended 4 Mar 97. The acquisition will be full and open competition. The conference will convene at 0800 on 29 April 1997 at Robins AFB Museum of Aviation Heritage Room, Highway 247 entrance, Warner Robins, GA. Attendance is limited to three persons per contractor. In addition to group discussions, interested parties will be afforded an opportunity for a one-on-one meeting with Government Program Team members. One-on-one meeting will be scheduled in order request is received. Attendance does not guarantee that any offerors will be considered for award when solicitation results, nor is attendance required to be considered for award. Accordingly, the Government is under no obligation to reimburse any source for attendance at this conference or for any bid/proposal costs incurred in preparation therefore.
