U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) needs an Existing Building or Construct
and Lease Building near the Indianapolis International Airport,
Indianapolis, IN. The building size desired is approximately 111,391
gross square feet (96,997 net interior square feet) including 15,000
square feet platform areas on a appropriate sized site (approximately
9 acres) for use as a mail processing facility. The building will be
leased on a 5 year base term with several five year renewal options
using Postal Service lease agreement. Existing buildings must be
capable of being renovated to Postal Service requirements. The
Preferred Area is defined as follows: North: US Highway 40; South:
State Road 67; East: Lynhurst Drive and West: West Raceway Road. All
offers must be submitted on the proper U.S.P.S. forms. The U.S.P.S.
reserves the right to negotiate with any and all offerors. Solicitation
for proposal packages may be obtained by request to Marla J.
Larsen-Williams on or after April 4, 1997. All requests for a proposal
package must be accompanied by a check or money order, made payable to
the U.S.P.S.-Disbursing Officer in the amount of $20.00. All offers
must be received by close of business, 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 16, 1997.
