Owens (757) 322-4500, Additional Contact Sandy Umberger, (757) 322-4457 The work includes removing 32 each roof drains and 6" drain lines down to concrete floor, remove concrete bumpers around base of roof drain lines. Provide new roof drains, tie into existing built-up roofing and replace flashing with new, provide new 6" drain line down to concrete floor, includes clean-outs. Saw-cut break-out concrete floor and roadway "concrete and asphalt pavement", excavate and provide new drain lines from roof drains to existing 18" storm drain line along East side of Building. Provide new catch basins, backfill trench, compact, replace concrete and asphalt that was removed and incidental related work. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 24 April 1997. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first come, first serve basis. A check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Treasury of the United States is required as a non-refundable charge for each set of bidding data. Written requests must be received in the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction no less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening if you want the bidding data mailed. If your check is received less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening, we will attempt to contact you and afford you the opportunity to pick up a bid package.
